Title: South Alabama listed as 9th most dangerous campus in U.S.
Post by: Old Tider on November 23, 2012, 07:42:30 PM
LSU is 10th and Vandy is 6th.  The list has South Alabama in Tuscaloosa, so I sent in a correction.

While I am surprised at the high rank, their is a lot of crime on and around campus. In a nearby student residential area, I was always reading about robberies, car break-ins, and the like.

they used to film a local show here called blue lights ..

Blue Lights was usually filmed in a neighborhood just
west of USA that at one time was housing for the students ...
it now =  the ghetto   :dunno:

I'm amazed by that.  I have always heard that Mobile has some rough areas but didn't know it was so bad near the university.
