Title: Tide BB Backcourt is Shining Post by: Marshal Dillon on November 23, 2012, 01:33:38 PM Now, let's hope we keep doing this all year.
 Quote Four games into its 2012-13 basketball season, Alabama is averaging 73 points per game. Alabama’s backcourt is accounting for 83 percent of that scoring: 60.7 points per game. http://www.al.com/alabamabasketball/index.ssf/2012/11/backcourt_shining_as_alabama_g.html#incart_river Title: Re: Tide BB Backcourt is Shining Post by: pmull on November 23, 2012, 03:37:54 PM Now, let's hope we keep doing this all year. Quote Four games into its 2012-13 basketball season, Alabama is averaging 73 points per game. It is good to see the Tide finally hitting some outside shots. The bad is we are living by the outside shot. They will not fall every night and sooner or later we will need solid play from the post. It is hard to complain about being 4-0. There is always room to improve but I like what I have seen from this team so far. I think with Releford driving to the basket, Jacobs, Pollard, & maybe Engstrom giving us some solid inside play, we will see a continuing improvement in our team. I really like Engstrom's hustle and blocking & clogging up the middle. Is problem is getting into early foul trouble. :popcorn2: |
