LOL!! Nice to dream. I do think Stanford has a real chance to beat Oregon, but Baylor is toast against K. State. Plus, Oregon will have to play Oregon State, then UCLA for the Pac 12 championship. I really like our chances. USC will beat Notre Dame in L.A., bank on it.

Baylor just scored again on their 2nd possession.  They are ripping the K State D.  If they could only get a stop or 2 on D they might have a chance.

Baylor should go for the onside kick every time they score.  They have a better chance to recover one of those than to get a stop on D.  The way their O is playing so far they may only need 1 or 2 stops to have a chance.  The K State D is going to be exhausted by the 4th Qtr.

Huh? UCLA is 9-2 and former NFL coach Jim Mora is their coach. He's not bad as a coach.

Yeah, did not mean to dis UCLA, but if ND can beat OK they can beat USC.  USC is thin with sanctions and with Kiffin coaching are just a decent but not great team.  Im not counting on it.

Well we are back in.  That didn't take long.  Handle our business the rest of the way.  Thanks to aTm for the come to Jesus moment, I believe our guys are focused on the process now and will dominate the rest of the way.

I STILL think USC beats Notre Dame and we end up #1 against #2 Georgia for the SEC Championship.

Here's a scenario. ND loses, Bama beats Ga, FSU beats Florida and whoever they play in the ACC championship. Then Bama plays FSU for the national championship.

At least Bama is in now if it wins the next 2 games.  I'm not going to worry about the opponent yet.   24 hour rule suggests I celebrate tonight's results.

Notre Dame beat Stanford in OT.  That game was at ND.  The USC game is a night game in LA next Saturday.  We'll see if ND can handle the #1 ranking pressure with a road game against a decent opponent.  So far, they have played better in their tougher games, and have been inconsistent otherwise.  And the ball has been bouncing their way this year.  That is their last game of the season, so they'll be ready, and they'll put it all on the line.

I'm picking ND at the moment.  I'm not convinced USC is all that good.  They also are thin from scholarship reductions, and we are at the end of the season.  That would also fulfill the dreams of some that Bama demolishes ND in the BCSCG.

ESPN is saying that Barclay (USC QB) is banged up pretty badly after today.  Looks like his right (throwing) arm is in a sling.  Shoulder injury???  May not be able to go vs. ND next week.

The LA Times say it is a separated shoulder, and that we won't be seeing him versus Notre Dame.

That is the first time I have watched K State play. They looked awful. The Big 12 is super weak and they did not play anyone outside the conference. They were exposed as pretenders. Everyone, including me, had them over rated.

Oregon is a good team. So is Stanford. Stanford was a little better yesterday. The turnovers kept Oregon in the game. I think the Stanford TD that was originally called incomplete and later overturned by replay was the correct call. It was also a great catch. Lack of a good place kicker got Oregon in the end. You are not a complete team unless you can make 40 yd FG's. Oregon missed one in regulation and one in OT.

Well I have one thing to say, the Lord has been good to us, you better take care of business instead of thinking the other teams will bow to you. RTR!

They also had an easy FG from inside the 10 and decided to go for it instead in the 1st Qtr.  They didn't make it and came away with no points.  Had they opted for the FG, they win by 3 at the end of regulation.

I forgot about Oregon going for it on 4th down inside the 10. Big mistake.

Wow is all I can say. I went to my friends camp house after the game yesterday to do some crappie fishing today. I had no phone signal and no tv so I no idea of any football scores until we got on the river very early this morning and I saw all of these messages that I had received.
I'm thinking that some of the folks that were at their cabins on Brush Creek probably thought that someone had either gone crazy or was about to be killed. I kind of went a little insane for a short period time.

No, it is on the Warrior River, west of Eutaw and south of Akron, just above Lock 7. There is hunting in the area but all of it is either on private owners land or hunting clubs.

I was hoping it might be on one of Alabama's Wildlife Management Areas (WMA). I know the Black Warrior cuts across some WMA's.

If I'm not mistaken there is some WMA land that borders the Tenn-Tom at Demopolisi it might be boat access only, I'm not sure. There is a motel at the boat landing in Demopolis if you were looking for a place to hunt with lodging being available.
