I thought they play Villanova.

We play Villanova tonight at 6:30 on ESPN2.

Villanova bear Purdue 89-81 in OT to adance to the finals to face Bama.

Congrats on your recent marriage. I can tell you are a newlywed or you would grow a pair and tell her Bama is on TV tonight.

Here's the plan. I think you live in Huntsville. Take her to a 6:30 movie at Bridge Street. Once the previews start slip out to use the bathroom. There is a bar in the lobby with big screen TV's. Problem solved. She gets the movie you get the game. She will be pizzed when you are gone for two hours so you will need to take her to PF Chang's (also at Bridge Street) and your problem is solved.

LOL!! You're right and I even watched the game. I have Purdue on the brain since I was hoping we could play them and give them some payback from a couple of years back when they beat us. A bad call by the ref and their choking in regular play really cost them.

The Belgian guy Obasohan & Releford hit a 3. If we can get 3 guys hitting 3's on a regular basis, look out SEC. Tide 18-12.

Lacey sitting with 2 fouls. Obasohan playing with Engstrom, Releford, Pollard, & Steele. Unusual line-up to say the least. Engstrom hits 1 FT, then Nova scores a 2. 19 all with 9:40 left in 1sr half. Releford drives to basket to score. Engstrom makes Nova player alter his shot & Releford rebounds. Tide calls timeout because Releford is playing with one tennis shoe on. Tide 21-19.

Bama D has held Nova to 2 for last 13. Tide pressure is causing turnovers, but we foul too much. Lacey has been sitting, but Tide is playing and scoring without him. We have had at least offensive fouls called on us in last few minutes. Now, a charge on Nova. Tide 27-26 with 2:00 minutes left in half.

Randolph hits a 2. Tide 29-26. Halftime. Releford has 10 points. Tide outscored Nova 21-14 with Lacey on bench. Randolph has been hustling like crazy on both ends of the court.

Tide D is stifling Nova and they are getting frustrated, plus we are 6/10 on 3 pointers. Tide 45-35. Tide outhustling them. Cooper just hit another 3 and Nova keeps committing turnovers. 48-35 Tide.

Three Nova players have 4 fouls each with 9 minutes left in game. Missed shot by Nova & rebound by Tide. Tide has been lousy hitting the FT tonight. Tide just hits 2 FT's. Cooper scores running the baseline & gets pass from Steele, Tide 52-37 over Villanova. Looking good.

Tide has hit 9/14 of 3 pointers with Releford going 5/5 with 23 points. Tide 60-41. 4:50 to go.

Tide D has been awesome in the 2nd half. Tide 69-47 over Villanova. Cooper, Releford, & Randolph have been very good.

Engstrom definitely is causing Nova problems under the basket. 71-51 Tide. Releford hits 2 FT's for 25 points. 73-51 Tide. Pollard hits 2 FT's. 75-53 Tide with 45 seconds left.

Tide wins 77-55. Glad to see Bama put a butt-whipping on a Big East team.

This is the Bama team that all of us were expecting this year, this was a very big road trip for the Tide. Bama just might have sent a message to all of the teams that would like to throw the zone at them tonight, bring it on. RTR!!  :clap:

I was returning from SC and didn't get to see the game, but am glad to hear Bama put it on a Big East team.  :clap:

Not only beating the stew out of a Big East team, but the Big East team beat the Big Ten team last night.  :what: :dance: 

Bingo! We appear to have 3, maybe 4 three point shooters. This includes Lacey, Cooper, Releford, & maybe Obasohan (Belgian guard). Plus, Steele & Randolph have shown they can hit a 3, just not on a regular basis. Plus, Engstrom looks good under the basket, changing other players shots, filling the lane, blocking out, rebounding, and can even score 3-5 points. Jacobs looked good at times, but he got into foul trouble. Pollard is somewhat raw, but he stays active and will improve, especially with so many good players around him. Let's see if we can keep this momentum up.
