I've heard several pundits say that Saban drafts players because he gets his choice while everybody else has to recruit and convince the kids to come to their school.

I look at the barn players who were top 5 like Reese Dismukes and I don't think we missed out on much. Coach Saban seems to get who he wants. Sometimes that means going out of state.
Title: Re: "Stage is set for Alabama to dominate in-state recruiting in 2014" Post by: SUPERCOACH on October 23, 2012, 02:59:13 PM He factors in a lot of things that the recruiting sites don't even look at, like character, attitude, work ethic, maturity, responsibility, etc. A lazy 5 star that feels entitled is a total waste of a scholarship in my opinion and is likely to wash out within a year or two.
