Midseason review: Mississippi State
MISSISSIPPI STATE BULLDOGS

Record: (6-0, 3-0 SEC)

The Bulldogs are off to their best start since 1999 and could move to 7-0 this Saturday with a win against Middle Tennessee. The tougher tests are still to come, starting with Alabama in two weeks, but it’s a Mississippi State team that has made every play it’s needed to make in the first half of the season, and has also been plenty resourceful. The Bulldogs are tied for first nationally among FBS schools with a plus-13 turnover margin.
