Title: Real Sports & Auburn: Where's The Outrage?
Post by: ssmithhhh on April 04, 2011, 02:35:43 PM
Very interesting how the media continues to turn the heat up on Auburn, and the national perception of how it runs its athletic program.

Just an excerpt:

"Auburn, you can’t just let this run its course and hope it goes away or gets forgotten, because in today’s day and age, the online media won’t let this go and everyone will keep asking questions like they did with Reggie Bush and USC.

It’s your choice.

Either 1) go after McClover, Reddick, Ramsay and Gray legally, in the media, and with a full-court PR press and start screaming that the accusations were all vicious lies (from someone other than Chizik), and really and truly determine whether or not the story is a fake; 2) find out if this is all true in any way, and if it is, start punishing yourself in the name of wanting to do the right thing; or 3) you and your fans must stand mute anytime anyone wants to assume that what McClover"

Yes, if the accusations are true, you might only have been keeping up with traffic, but that doesn't mean you weren't speeding. Welcome to life as a national champion.

That's funny, I don't recall the previous national champion having these issues.  Oh yeah, I forgot:  "Not a dime.  Not one penny."

SC...that's funny.  Your "traffic" quote was my first choice for an exerpt.  I didn't think it would make much sense without a bit more substance first.

Thanks for doing that.   #+

I think Auburn knows this was happening and they are scared that the hammer is about to hit the nail. RTR!

I've been waiting on cheez or someone from au to scream bloody "it ain't true" murder
to my knowledge that hasn't happened ...
they called it garbage but never said it wasn't true ... I agree , where is the outrage ?

I also thought OSU got hammered as bad or worse than au in the piece
au acts as if they were the only team mentioned except to say Coach Saban was at lsu when it happened
"it happened on Saban's watch " I believe is how they are putting it  :-\

geeez ... give me a break barners  ???
