Florida won eight consecutive games by at least 21 points in 2008. Three other SEC teams have streaks of seven games -- Vanderbilt in 1948, Georgia in 1971 and Auburn in 1986. Alabama's streak started last season with a 45-21 victory over Georgia Southern and continued through a 42-14 win over Auburn and a 21-0 victory over LSU in the BCS championship game. The Crimson Tide continued the streak in the 2012 season by beating Michigan 41-14, Western Kentucky 35-0, Arkansas 52-0 and Florida Atlantic 40-7. Florida's record streak in 2008 started after a 31-30 loss to Ole Miss. The Gators beat Arkansas 38-7, LSU 51-21, Kentucky 63-5, Georgia 49-10, Vanderbilt 42-14, South Carolina 56-6, The Citadel 70-19 and Florida State 45-15 before a 31-20 win over Alabama in the SEC championship game ended the run.
