Title: "Tide's offense, defense play tug of war with ball at practice"

Quote
The offense gives next to nothing.

The defense takes almost everything.

Alabama has turned the ball over only once in three games, losing only one fumble.

The Crimson Tide (3-0) has forced a nation-high 12 turnovers, recovering six of its opponents 11 fumbles.

When this aggressive defense clashes with the sure-handed offense in practice, what gives?

How often does the offense lose a fumble?

“I really don’t know,” running back Eddie Lacy said. “But whenever we do, we really don’t like to go back to the coaches, I know that.” ...

When the best practices against the best, it only gives each of them the chance to stay at the top of their game.

I hope someone will correct me if wrong, but I remember the one fumble to be something insignificant,--like seconds before the half ended.

 ???

Correct - Lacy.
I thought you and I had agreed to never mention his name in this particular context.   ???
