That's the difference between Saban and Chizik. The process depends on the player being pushed to perform at their highest level, relentlessly. Chizik doesn't have that in him. He wants to be big brother to his players. That's not coaching. That's not effective. Even the year of the $campionship, fundamentals were terrible, particularly on defense. The best part of what he is doing is that he is building character in each of the players on a daily basis and to me that is the foundation for the young men to grow on. The players have learned to set their goals to the highest standard because they have been taught that way and have been shown that the process does indeed work. ;)
