"In a surprising move this week, Alabama Coach Nick Saban plans to start center Barrett Jones at QB and move running back Dee Hart to center to make things a little more even for this week's matchup with FAU."  :D

Quote
The Owls will match up against an Alabama defense that ranks No. 8 in rushing defense (57.7 yards per game), No. 10 in passing defense (152.3), No. 6 in total defense (210) and No. 3 in scoring defense (4.67 ppg).

Who is #1 and #2?  ???

It's only week 3 so someone (or 2) must have played nobodies yet - oh, that would be FSU and TCU.

I just saw that when looking at the AP poll. You're right, neither team has played anybody. I'm looking forward to seeing FSU play a real team to see if they are living up to the hype.

Clemson didn't impress me when they played the Barn so I don't know if this is much of a challenge for FSU or not. :dunno:

Sammy Watkins is back now, so that has to help them out some.

FSU was promoted as a top-5 team last year, and some predicted a title run.  They're loaded with talent.  But injuries plagued them last year, and they never recovered.  They could be formidable this year, especially with that schedule.

The FAU win over Wagner should be enough to get everyone's attention. The Middle Tennessee loss was a classic "trap game" and should not be considered indicative of their level of play. I look for them to bring their "A-game" to BDS but CNS is good at preparing for big games. I think much of what you saw against Arky was in preparation for FAU. HTH

Yep, a lot of experts have FSU in the BCSCG based on the ease of their schedule.  We'll see if they can survive the tough ACC.
