I was more skeptical about Mora's hire at UCLA because he hadn't done it at the college level. But it's hard to argue with 653 total yards on 94 plays in a 36-30 win over the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

I was listening to Jim Rome interview Mora the other day and I was really taken by the guy. He readily admitted trepidation in coming over to coach college ball, but said he was shocked to find out that he was completely cut out for being a college coach, and wished he'd done it years ago. He loves the process of recruiting the kids and their parents. It was easy to tell he was sincere. I hope he does well and gives Lamey an annual azz kicking for years to come.
