Title: Can UGA beat Missou? "Georgia Vs. Missouri Preview"
Post by: Chechem on September 04, 2012, 06:19:11 AM
I'm not convinced that Georgia (3.5 point favorite) can beat Missouri, especially considering UGA's injuries, suspensions, and their opening-game performance.  Plus, it's a road game for UGA.

UGA offensive lineman John Theus (ankle sprain) was not able to practice on Monday, while cornerback Malcolm Mitchell (ankle sprain) was limited. Reserve offensive lineman Watts Dantzler (ankle sprain) also missed practice, and both wide receiver Marlon Brown (hamstring strain) and running back Richard Samuel (hip contusion) were limited...

I'm rooting for Mizzu. UGA fans are the most unrealistic fans I have ever seen, the barn is close but i say UGA is worse.

And your points about how they performed in the opener are right on the money. Did anyone else notice how when Murry would throw (which he is good) he would jump up and down like ohh im so good and you should have caught that (on the missed ones).

Their O is not that good (SEC AVG i would say) and the D that is suppose to be sooo good , didnt see it.

Now for Mizzu IDK. dont know much about them other than i hear they have a pretty good QB and a stud Fresman WR.

I love this!

1. Alabama — Free advice to the nation's Big Six programs: At some point in the near future, you may be invited to face Nick Saban's Alabama team at a neutral site to kick off the season. You may think, "Wow! What an honor! Not only will it be a nationally televised prime-time game, it'd be a chance to really make a statement that we're national-title material!" DON'T DO IT. "But to be the best, you've got to — " I know that, honey, but no. It's just not a good idea. Say thank you, you're flattered to be asked, but you've already got a game lined up for that week. Then go schedule Akron and hope nobody notices.

Ha. Be afraid. Be very afraid.
