Title: Michigan Radio Host: "Alabama has no idea what is coming"
Post by: carl childers on August 29, 2012, 12:22:45 PM
"Bill Simonson, host of the statewide Michigan sports talk show "The Huge Show" and blogger for MLive.com, predicted in his Wednesday blog post that Michigan will pull off the upset this weekend in Dallas, saying that Alabama "has no idea what is coming" from the Wolverines."

Must be the same Yankee who announced first Bull Run.
"You Confederates better run; our troops are coming at you."

LOL.  "Look, they charging in reverse."

Just another "journalist" with an angle.  I doubt the yahoo even believes it himself.

Simsonson questions Saban's coaching ability and believes Michigan defensive coordinator Greg Mattison has proven himself to be a more effective game planner.

I'd like to know what that guy has been smoking and/or drinking. I do not think that the players are counting this as a win, just yet. CNS won't let them. I say bring it on buddy!

No, we probably don't know what's coming. That's why we (a) stress conditioning and fundamentals, and (b) prepare for EVERYTHING. Questions?

Something that both candidates can agree on:

I do think the game will be closer that most Bama fans think, but that is because Mich will have some things we haven't seen and this is a young( but really good) D. so until Bama settles in the game will be close, but I see them pulling away late with a pounding run game.

I'll take ANY win, but I expect TOTAL dominance.  Sure, Michigan will move the ball some and score some points.  But the game won't be in doubt.

Please keep that in mind as during discussions of the In-Game Thread.  Panic is not becoming.

I agree, Chech, but even if we win all games and the NC, I suffer each time an opponent gets a first down, am devastated if they get beyond the 50-yard line, am horrified if they make a sack, crushed if we get a penalty, get pains if they score any points any way, and stop breathing if we fall behind anytime.

So why do I endanger my health by following football? Because Bama is the greatest thing on the gridiron.

Okay, let the suffering begin.

I'll keep that in mind.  Helps to know it's a consistent and predictable affliction.
