Title: "Monday (game week) practice report"

Quote
**Freshman Amari Cooper (foot) is back in a white jersey and is participating in drills with the wide receivers. He was in a black non-contact jersey all last week.
**Backup center Ryan Kelly (ankle) was participating in drills with the second-team offensive line.
**The news media was allowed to observe two periods. Starting quarterback AJ McCarron spent both periods throwing. Backup Phillip Ely worked with the first-team offensive line, taking snaps and handing the ball off to Tide running backs.
**Alabama had four safeties on the field during a dime defense drill. Veteran Robert Lester and sophomore HaHa Clinton-Dix played deep. Sophomore Vinnie Sunseri played the “Star” position. Junior Nick Perry played the “Money” position. The cornerbacks were Dee Milliner and Deion Belue.
**Backup cornerback Bradley Sylve still has his left hand wrapped, but it isn’t the thick cast that we saw Friday and Saturday. He fractured a bone in the hand last week...

Thank goodness, game week is here. I believe the four freshman lbs will be red shirted to add depth for next year. The players have to pick up the defensive play book to play. Some just learn faster than others.

Good news about Cooper and Sylve. Sounds like they are healing nicely. The more they can eliminate the injury bug, the better this team will be.

Everyone suddenly heals during game week?
But I expect CNS to surprise us a bit with injury updates on Saturday - not that he will personally make an announcement; they'll be in street clothes.
