Title: Georgia Names Starting Tailback Replacing Crowell
Post by: Marshal Dillon on August 22, 2012, 11:40:13 PM
Georgia has a relatively soft schedule which should make it easier for the RB to get a good start on the season. Their first game is against mighty Buffalo. However, they do play at Missouri, which could be interesting. The new RB was a 4 star recruit who is listed at 6' 224 lbs.

Ken Malcome took the news in stride. All along, he expected to be the starting tailback for No. 6 Georgia.

Coach Mark Richt announced Wednesday evening after a closed scrimmage that Malcome will likely start the Sept. 1 opener against Buffalo, though it was not a totally definitive call.
