Title: "Alabama's 1st scrimmage" August 11th

Quote
The first big test for Alabama's young defensive players is underway at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Sure, this scrimmage will be a big proving point for all of the Crimson Tide players, but it might result in some immediate decisions for a handful of the team's freshmen.

Will Reggie Ragland, Tyler Hayes or Denzel Devall be able to contribute...

The scrimmage started about 2PM.  It was closed to the media.  Coach Saban will meet with the media about 5PM to discuss it (or not).

Nothing official yet, but chat says Yeldon looked good, AJ looked excellent, Shelley kicked all of his field goals, Norwood had a good catch, and no major injuries (D Square?).

They ran 1 vs 2s, 1 vs 1s, and mucho in the red zone and 2-min drills.

Reports will be out soon.

Good to hear. Holding my breath to hear about the "D".
