Title: "Preseason practice report: Day 6" Post by: Chechem on August 09, 2012, 05:39:50 AM http://www.al.com/sports/index.ssf/2012/08/alabama_2012_preseason_practic_7.html
Quote For the first time in preseason camp, the Alabama football team practiced twice Wednesday. Yes, there were two practices on the first day, but players only practiced once, either in the morning (veterans) or evening (newcomers). After working in full pads Wednesday morning, the Crimson Tide was in shorts in the evening practice. Observations: Freshman Reggie Ragland still was working with the outside linebackers, as he was in the morning practice. This was after working the first five days with the inside linebackers. Freshman Dillon Lee still was working with the inside linebackers, as he was in the morning practice. This was after working the first five days with the outside linebackers. Running back Jalston Fowler apparently was spotted Wednesday morning working with the H-backs ... Imagine Fowler as an H-back, rumbling along through the DBs... :) Title: Re: "Preseason practice report: Day 6" Post by: 2Stater on August 09, 2012, 07:44:46 AM http://www.al.com/sports/index.ssf/2012/08/alabama_2012_preseason_practic_7.html Quote For the first time in preseason camp, the Alabama football team practiced twice Wednesday. I think BC did a decent job at H. I could actually see JF getting some reps there if the coaches decided to make the move. Not bragging if it's true. :) Title: Re: "Preseason practice report: Day 6" Post by: ricky023 on August 09, 2012, 01:55:30 PM I like the idea of JF lining up for an extra blocker of Eddie. Can you imagine student body right or left with big old JF coming in front of Eddie wow. RTR!
Title: Re: "Preseason practice report: Day 6" Post by: Catch Prothro on August 09, 2012, 02:54:57 PM I thought it was common for Saban to practice the newcomers separately from the old hands on the first day.
