The numbers
- Senior Marquis Maze led a balanced receiving corps that featured 10 players with at least 100 yards and eight who caught at least one touchdown. Maze was the team leader with 56 catches and 627 yards. Tight end Brad Smelley was next best with 34 catches, 356 yards and a Crimson Tide-best four touchdowns. Running back Trent Richardson (29 catches, 338 yards, three touchdowns) and Darius Hanks (26/328/1) were third and fourth, respectively. Kenny Bell (17/255/2), Michael Williams (16/191/2), DeAndrew White (14/151/2), Brandon Gibson (14/140/1), Kevin Norwood (11/190/0) and Eddie Lacy (11/131/0) also contributed.

There is plenty of talent in these areas.  The question is who will step upand take the starting positions.
