There are other Div II schools but Alabama St and Alabama A&M are well respected in the SWAC. You can see it taking shape from I-85 in Montgomery. It looks pretty nice from what I could see.

What surprised me was the article said UGA is down to under 70 scholarship players. Those are probation numbers. It is hard to build depth with those numbers.

I think they had 64 scholarship players in Chiznik's first year. Tuberville, and now apparently Richt, would recruit academically borderline players or problem children who either dropped out, got the boot, or left the program early. Remember how Tuberville was turkey hunting while Saban was out recruiting?
