I totally dsagree about Ohio State and Auburn. OSU is damaged and Auburn lost everyone.

A&M #6 ??  No way.  Only if the rest of their conference folds again.  And if UGA loses to Boise (in the GA Dome), we should vote them off the island.

I agree that AM at 6 is way too high.  Although they do return something like 18 starters and virtually everyone from a very talented offense last year.  Michael Hodges and Von Miller will be missed, but they definitely have the opportunity to improve on last year's successes.  But, like you implied, they will need the Texas Teasips to be down again to avoid finishing 3rd in their weaker by the moment conference as OU will likely win the Little Used to be 12.

Also, just brace yourself now and prepare for a UGA loss.  CMR has a good record OOC, but this UGA team has a lot of work to do mentally to overcome the past couple of seasons.  Meanwhile, BSU is as good as just about any team in the country for these one game scenarios.  BSU will work all summer solely on UGA just to try and steal some credibility with a win in a hostile environment over an SEC team...no matter that UGA has become mediocre at best.

BSU plays Open Date U in week 2 after the UGA game.  UGA plays USCe and opens up SEC play against the defending SEC East champ.  Not hard to imagine who has the advantage in preparation and focus.  UGA has a shot (and a much better one than Ole Miss who was originally scheduled), but an opening weekend loss will not be a shocker.

The only problem is that they have to play a brutal schedule that includes five teams in this list.

Isn't it this way every year?

Compare his list to Vegas' Top 25, based on odds they give teams of winning the National Championship

note: tOSU has begun its slide southward in the odds, but is still a top 10 team for oddsmakers (in terms of making it to the BCS CG).  I imagine after official punishment comes, things will change, but as it stands the first 5 games are all that are affected due to current punishment and they get their toughest competition in that stretch at home.  If they knock off Miami on the road, they should stilll be in good shape for the season.

Oklahoma 4-1 In Progress
Alabama 5-1 In Progress
Florida St 10-1 In Progress
Stanford 10-1 In Progress
Oregon 10-1 In Progress
LSU 12-1 In Progress
Ohio St 15-1 In Progress
Boise St 15-1 In Progress
Texas 20-1 In Progress
Florida 20-1 In Progress
South Carolina 20-1 In Progress
Notre Dame 20-1 In Progress
Nebraska 25-1 In Progress
Georgia 30-1 In Progress
Arkansas 30-1 In Progress
Texas A&M 30-1 In Progress
Oklahoma St 30-1 In Progress
Wisconsin 40-1 In Progress
TCU 40-1 In Progress
Penn St 40-1 In Progress
Virginia Tech 40-1 In Progress
xz Field (Any Other Team) 40-1 In Progress
Missouri 50-1 In Progress
West Virginia 50-1 In Progress
Michigan St 60-1 In Progress
Mississippi St 60-1 In Progress
Iowa

5-1 is excellent odds for us, I need to get in on that action.

Compare his list to a Vegas' Top 25 (http://props.scoresandodds.com/section_display.cfm?event=2012%20BCS%20National%20Championship%20-%20Odds%20To%20Win&sporttype=592&startdate=3/29/2011) based on odds they give teams of winning the National Championship in 2012.  I always like to go with the oddsmakers for the most impartial pre-season top 25.
