Quote
After hearing legendary running back Jim Brown criticize him as "ordinary," former Alabama running back Trent Richardson says he plans on using Brown's comments as motivation.

"I laugh at the situation," Richardson told ESPN. "You don't know me from spic to span. But he's Jim Brown. He's done a lot here and I haven't done anything yet. I have a lot to accomplish and big shoes to fill. When it comes down to it, I have to work and make sure I make him a believer. I haven't done anything yet."

But I'm betting he will before all is said and done.

Smart comments by TR.  He'll do his talking on the field.

Jim Brown sounds like a bitter old man who's mad that someone else possibly plays the game better than he did.  If his true intention behind his comments is to motivate T-Rich, well then well done, Jim Brown.

I see that Trent's comments went from "hard" to "humble" in a hurry.  His brain quickly checked his emotions.  He represents the Bama Nation well...on and off the field.
