Our church had a huge blessing...

Our church has been working on a new sanctuary for a while- planning then building.  We are a small church and it had gotten to where we had to bring in folding chairs and open up 2 services to accommodate everyone.  A couple of years ago our preacher of 12+ years left us and people didn't know what to do...continue or put it on hold.  We got the dean of the seminary as an interim pastor and he told us we were building for those yet to come, not for the preacher...continue forth.  SOOOO...we did.  We now have a new full time pastor who is really great about outreaching to the community.  Every week I see new faces.  We started building last spring and the building is nearing completion.  The preacher has been doing little things hear and there to thank the construction crew.  Well the church staff held an appreciation lunch for the crew this week and shared the gospel.  Twelve grown men accepted Christ!  WOW.  Not only is that great, I think about the wives and children who will be affected by having a husband who follows Christ.  Pray for these men that they will continue to grow in their faith.  I am thankful that God blessed us with something so wonderful as these men accepting Christ- it makes me know the building project was what we needed to do and I am so glad we did it.
