That is probably a good line for a road team going into Happy Valley but I don't think it will be that close. Last year Saban took it easy on Joe Pa. Joe is hoping he will do that again.

Miami (FL) (-3.5) vs. Maryland

September 10, 2011

South Carolina (-3) vs. Georgia

Notre Dame vs. Michigan (-2)

September 15, 2011

LSU vs. Mississippi State (-1)

September 17, 2011

Oklahoma (-3.5) vs. Florida State

Michigan State vs. Notre Dame (-6)

West Virginia (-3) vs. Maryland

Tennessee vs. Florida (-13.5)

September 24, 2011

Missouri vs. Oklahoma (-13)

Arkansas vs. Alabama (-11)

LSU (-4) vs. West Virginia

I don.t agree with all the lines, but you have to start somewhere. Kickoff will be here before you can blink an eye so to speak. The older you are the faster football season comes around every year.

 Cool

This is good news, because I am getting older every year.  Cheesy

On a side note, if Georgia loses to the Smurfs they need to be kicked out of the SEC.

I agree, barn needs to go with them.

That's an awful lot of points they are giving Boise State, esp. since they are in Athens.

We will be favored in every game this year, again.

When was the last time we were an underdog?  2008?

I used to love betting Bama as the dog.  Always hated taking Bama as a huge favorite-- never seem to cover big spreads.

Those early lines will move a mile by the start of the season-- let alone the week by week changes as the season progresses. This may be a good time to lock in some bets. I like LSU giving only 4 @ WVU.

I don't have facts to back me up but I think we were the underdog to Florida in the 2009 SEC Championship Game. I think we were also the underdog to Va Tech in the 2009 opener in Atlanta.

One thing is for sure CNS does not run the score up anymore than he wants too. Duke last year was a bunch of woreout players and Bama kept putting in young guys wanting to make a name. RTR!
