1. Cornerbacks
This one has all the elements for a fun discussion. Talent graduated from the 2013 unit including two-year starter Deion Belue. Popular sophomore Eddie Jackson was reportedly doing well in the spring until he went down with a knee injury. The exact ETA on his return is unknown, which adds extra intrigue after his 10-tackle showing in the Sugar Bowl. Add in five-star freshmen like Tony Brown and Marlon Humphrey to make this a little more interesting. That's before you mention returning players like Cyrus Jones (five starts) and Bradley Sylve (three starts). ...
HOPEFULLY, this year our CBs will stay healthy and have depth. We've suffered over the past couple of years with injuries taking away our best, or CBs playing hurt.
I'm cheering for Eddie's return asap. He showed that he 'gets it' during the Ole Miss game.
