Southern Miss has a good team. They got to us in the middle innings and it was too much for our offensively challenged team to overcome. This is the only game this year our pitching has not held up.

It gets even harder this weekend when we open SEC play on the road at LSU.

This will be a heck of a test at LSU. As usual, they are very good. We'll need the bats to come alive a little better and our pitching at it's best. We could right the ship if we could take 2 of 3.
