Then, in his weekly press conference, Rebel coach Hugh Freeze implied that Ole Miss was capable of competing with the much more talented Bama squad. Now, the deepest cut of all.
Alabama coach Nick Saban fawned over the Rebels at his own press conference. Speaking on the Ole Miss defense, Saban said, "They have always been able to move, but the do a lot of stunts and movement up front. They have some really good pass rush guys and (CJ Johnson) does a great job off the edge and usually plays that off the boundary. They have a lot of experience.
