Title: Game with Vols may have postseason implications

After nine years of smoke billowing from the end of Alabama victory cigars, the “Third Saturday in October” could finally have its fire back.

Alabama has won its previous nine meetings against rival Tennessee, a streak that began when head coach Nick Saban took over the Crimson Tide in 2007. However, this year should offer a little more excitement, as the Volunteers field their best team in years for a preview of the SEC title game.

Jonathan Kongbo, the nation’s No. 1 junior college recruit, posted a video on his Twitter account @King_Kongbo of him working out in front of a whiteboard that read “Bama we coming.”

Kongbo has also declared the Volunteers won’t lose any of their games this season.

Sounds like Mr Kongbo has been hitting the bong bowl. (http://www.sherv.net/cm/emo/smoke/smiley-smoking-bong.gif)

The incidents prompted Tennessee head coach Butch Jones to talk with his incoming defensive end about broadcasting potential bulletin board material over social media.

“He didn’t mean anything by it,” Jones told the Knoxville News-Sentinel in May. “He’s a confident young man, and at Tennessee we want that confidence. We’ll continue to educate him when he gets here.”

Saban has never lost to Tennessee at Alabama.  Crazy.  Looks like he's 11-1 overall against the Vols.

I sure do thank Kongbo. He is going to make winning a lot more fun and you know this little momento is going to be hanging on some lockers in the dressing room. RTR!
