1st hole:

Bud had longer drive than Tiger; both on fairway.

Tiger on green 46' away.  Bud over green in the sand.  

Bud from the bunker, stops 3'.  Easy par.

Tiger lags a long putt to within 3'; easy par.

2nd hole (tough par 3; 233 yards):

Tiger (-7) on the green, 52' away.

Bud (-7) in rough right of the green; mishit it and big slice.  Not good.

Bud chips to 18' from hole; on fringe.

Tiger putts to within 8'.  Par.

Bud misses the par to the right; bogey.

Tiger (-7) on the fairway, 152 yds away.

Bud (-6) also on fairway, more to left, and 148 yds away.

Tiger on the green; 30' away.

Bud hits the green; 9' away.  WOOT!!

Both get a par.

4th hole (easier, par 5; 561 yards).  Both survived the toughest holes.

Tiger (-7) on the fairway, 311 yds drive.

Bud (-6) hits 287 yds to left rough.  UGH!

Tiger on the green; 27' for eagle.  Missed eagle, but got the BIRDIE!!  WOOT.

Bud hits 2nd shot to the right rough on layup; still 150 yds away.  3rd shot is short of green; 4th shot is on the green, 10' away.  PAR.

5th hole (fairly easy, par 4; 390 yards). 

Tiger (-8) in the rough, but only 44 yds away from green.

Bud (-6) on fairway, 125 yds away.

Tiger also on the fringe; 40' away.  Friggin sprinkler head stopped the ball.  Grrrrrrrrrrrr.

Bud hits the fringe; 39' away.   

Both get a par.

6th hole (easier, par 5; 555 yards). 

Tiger (-8) with huge (318 yd drive) on the fairway (227 to green).

Bud (-6) also on fairway, but 280 yds to green.
Lays up; chips to 6' with chance for birdie; BIRDIE!!  WOOOOOOOOOOOT!

Tiger on the green; 13' away for EAGLE.  Nope, but BIRDIE!!  WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT.

7th hole (par 3, 199 yds).

Tiger (-9) on the green, but 37' uphill to the hole.  Lags to within 3': PAR.

Bud (-7) also on green, and only 7' away.  Missed birdie; PAR.

8th hole (par 4, 460 yds).

Tiger (-9) on the fairway, and 176 yds from green.  DAMNN.... just 6" from hole!  BIRDIE!!


Bud (-7) missed fairway to right; 176 yards to green. 2nd shot missed green to right.  BOGEY.

9th hole (par 4, 474 yds).

Tiger (-10) loses a driver far right (against a tent); gets a drop.  Has a shot from there, but tough to judge distance (185 yards??).  HITS THE GREEN, but runs out and off the back.  Poor 3rd shot; runs past 15'.  BOGEY.
 

Bud (-6) on the fairway; 165 to the hole.  Not a great 2nd shot; 35' away from hole. PAR

10th hole.

Tiger at -9.  Bud at -6.

UPDATE:

Softball: Bama leads Boogettes 1-0 after 6.

Baseball: Bama trails UGA 0-1 after 2.

Tiger got his birdie: -10 again.   

Bud didn't.  He's at -6, though, with a PAR.

Bud in the water.

Tiger on fairway.
