More information about the coaching prowess of the $49 million dollar man.

Turns 53 in late October

4-2 in 2018 season with 2 conference losses. Regular season record of 8-4, maybe even 7-5 if Malzahn can hold the team together. Could still lose the team this season.

49-24  .671% whining percentage   Record as Auburn Head Coach

1-4     Bowl game record with a big win at the Birmingham Bowl

The best news about Coach Malzahn is that he will be the Auburn coach in 2019 & 2020. Of course, if he goes say 10-2 in 2020, he will continue to be the Auburn coach.

More great info for Auburn fans.

Quote
Auburn's offensive struggles continue to push the floor lower.

Following the team's 23-9 road loss to Mississippi State on Saturday, in which the Tigers failed to score a touchdown for the first time since Week 2 against Clemson last season, Auburn's offense is on pace to put up some of the worst numbers of the Gus Malzahn era. Among the categories in which the Tigers are setting or approaching new lows are rushing offense, pass efficiency, total offense, scoring offense, third-down and red-zone offense.

Being sarcastic, the media is calling Gus the $49 Million Dollar Man. The boogers let incompetent Jay Jacobs negotiate his contract on his way out the door. The buyout of $30M plus is too much. They are stuck with him a few more years.

Chech (or the first available man), can you fix MD's link above?  Looks like he used the email function rather than URL.

Thanks!
