Good morning, everybody. 

Well, the beautiful weather ends today; rain coming later this afternoon.  But the rain isn't supposed to be accompanied by severe storms; just 1.5" of rain.  It'll rain all day Thursday.

The softball team won again last night, beating Belmont.  I didn't see it, but 2 reports it wasn't pretty.

Lots of beautiful birds to enjoy these days.  The woods are alive with songs of wood thrushes, robins, and tanagers.  I sat yesterday morning and just enjoyed listening.

I did not see the game last night as it wasn't televised. I followed the box score on line as I was watching the Braves lose to Cincinatti. Both the Braves and Bama walked a bunch of people last night. Didn't hurt Bama. It dearly cost the Braves.

2, yes, I did know about Bama playing in Cullman last night and I really wanted to go.  However, there is this whole "support your kid" thing...

Daughter's team played just about like normal, they got beat by the Mercy rule...again...

I am glad it is Wednesday. I love the way things went in my kids lives. They knew on 1st and 3rd Monday and Thursday I had somewhere to go and they din't ever ask any questions. I hope the rain cleans the air again I have some friends who want to get their garden planted but can't til it dries up some. RTR!

Bama actually had a 6-0 lead going into the 7th

Belmont scored 4 in T7 including a 2 run homer

Bama pitcher only gave up 3 walks

Belmont our hit us by 8-5

Bama played 16 different players.

Still, as you say "not a pretty win"

Well it is time we bring home a SB championship. We are a good team this year and have beat some tough teams as well as mediocre. RTR!

Good Thursday morning. I won't be going into work today. I've got a dentist appointment this morning for a routine cleaning, etc., and then an eye appointment this afternoon. In between, I'll do my hour-long walk, so it will be a full day.

Tomorrow, we start working half days on Fridays through July. Whatever shall I do tomorrow afternoon?  

The NFL draft is tonight. Will be watching to see where Q and the others go.
