The first debate will be tonight at 8:00 CT. The moderator will be Jim Lehrer of PBS.

What are your thoughts on Jim Lehrer. Will he be fair and balanced or will he lean to the left like most TV media?

Quote
The debate will focus on domestic policy and be divided into six time segments of approximately 15 minutes each on topics to be selected by the moderator and announced several weeks before the debate.

The moderator will open each segment with a question, after which each candidate will have two minutes to respond. The moderator will use the balance of the time in the segment for a discussion of the topic.

It is good that they get the topics several weeks in advance, because most terrorist dictators always give 2 weeks notice before they attack.

Romney 1 - BHO 0

Romney looks polished and knew the facts. He handled himself extremely well. BHO looked bored, un-prepared and overwhelmed. BHO stumbled through most of this debate. He looked lost without his teleprompter. Even the Democrate news media was giving this round to Romey.

This went as good for Romney as we could have hoped for.

BHO knew the topics two weeks in advance and was that unprepared. Wow! That's our president?

Obama rhetoric exposed by Romney last night. Loved the part where Obama repeated one of his TV ad lies and Romney called him. The one where it pays (tax loop holes) to send jobs overseas. Romney said he had never heard of that! They can't separate fact from fiction at the White House these days.lol

I liked how he jumped on BHO for all the money spent on green energy. He then pointed out how he would drill off shore, on government land and get the pipeline fron Canada. He then smacked BHO with with hurting the coal industry.

I don't want to take anything away from Romney because he did a great job. But... BHO is much easier to go after this time. Four years ago BHO had no record of any kind to defend. It still amazes me a guy with no polictical record can get elected. Romney just stuck to the facts and the facts do not help the Dem's in this election.

I just hope as always is my appeal, don't let it go to your head. Keep the foot on the pedal till the end. Facts and plans will ruin them democrats because they are not real honest folks according to what I have seen in Washington the last 4 years. JMHO. Romney/Ryan. RTR!
