17 yr old Kira Lewis is taking control of this game. Bama up 29-22.

Still waiting for that super talented team the announcer keeps talking about to show up.

Yeah, there's not a lot of chemistry yet on this team. Kira Lewis is going to be great, but we looked lost, for the most part, in the first half, other than him and Petty. Poor shooting from down low and poor FG shooting are not a good recipe.

Petty hit a three at the buzzer to end the half, putting Bama up 38-35.

I agree.  I still think Schaffer is better than AJJ.  Plus, Norris isn't good enough to get on the floor?

Think of execution in football like illegal procedure, delay of game, etc. Same type of problems in BB, passing, ball handling, etc. That's a coaching problem. This is his 4th year and we have experience this year. FT shooting is coaching, too. We can not lose this game, period. App State was 15-18 in the Sun Belt. Like I said, no excuses.

The officiating in this game is horrendous. Dear Lord!

We are 13/21 FT's & shooting 37.5% from the field. App St. shooting 55% from field & 7/15 FT

Bama depth wearing them down now. Up 71-61.

Bama finally pulls it out 81-73.

This team is very rough around the edges. They missed countless layups. There are no real ball handlers. Free throw shooting is still a bugaboo.

On the bright side, Kira Lewis is going to be a star.

The season is young and there is plenty of room to grow. Let's hope that happens sooner than later.

It was good to see Riley Norris dressed out and on the bench. From what I hear, he has been experiencing an accelerated heart rate.

He was on the bench and said that he was just banged up and will be back soon.

I saw that. But I had heard from another source that it had to do with an accelerated heart rate.

Your source probably knows better than the announcers.  I trust your, can I say guy or do I have to say person?

The 17-year old is indeed about the only bright spot from the game last night.  Well, plus it's a win when we weren't shooting well.  On the road against a tournament team, we'd have lost by 20.
