Thanks, Preacher.  Actually, Jamos is king; I'm a loyal servant!

Speaking of sins, I went fishing today.  Caught a bunch of biggies.  I tried a bunch of new lures, and even caught a few on a flyrod.  Fun time.

Grass Rat

Watermelon Worm

Popping Bug (flyrod)

Watermelon Worm again (in a pine tree downed by a beaver)

White Spinnerbait

Black Worm

Nice catch there Chech.  I took the boys fishing this afternoon too.  We were going to go to the BIL's pond but it started raining as we were leaving the house so I decided we would just go to Scottsboro and fish under a bridge.  When we got there the rain had stopped so we were able to fish along the road.  Oldest managed to catch three small bass.  I caught one small one, maybe 1/2 pound, one that went probably about 2 pounds and a third that weighed 3 pounds.  Youngest son caught one that he did an "Alabama quick release" on as he got it to the bank.  He isn't happy that I won't let him count that one...  Wink

Glad to see the day went well for fishing and golfing. Blessings all around it seems. We had a great Service today and another one tonight. I see we are getting close to less than 200 days so it ain't long. RTR!

Good luck with the crapday.

It's cool today, in the 40s, so that kills fishing.  Maybe it's time to work on a few projects, like rigging my fishfinder so it fits my pontoon boat.  Hmmm.

Nice setup you've got there. I like the trolling motor on the side.

Laughing  Well, this isn't mine in the pic but I have the same "trolling motor" (one on each side).  I bought a fishfinder holder that looks like a rifle scabbard.  Want to rig something as a keeper, so if it slips off I won't lose it.  And got to figure out how to rig the scabbard without being in the way of the trolling motor!

If you hooked that 12 lb bass, he could pull you around the lake in that little thing.

Actually, the big trout in Montana do that.  The thing weighs almost nothing and floats high in the water.  Great for fishing, transports easily in my little car, and ensures access to the fishies.

Retirement suites you well.

Wears especially easily on Monday.

Did you see that California dam with the emergency spillway about to give way?
