I'll bet that knife could tell some stories (if knives could talk). Cool
I looked up the name (RW Hallman). At first I was like because there was a Hallman who won the Medal of Honor in WWII. But it wasn't RW. Our young marine remains a mystery. CAT? Is he any kin to the guy from the Tupelo gun show that sold you a knife for $45 dollars and then took 45 minutes telling and updating you on his whole lfe? See I did read the fine print. Nope. I got it with the Marble's knife. It was tossed in to sweeten the deal (5 min deal).

Well I wish I could go but my injury will not allow it. Last time I was at Superdome area was in 1991 when Tenn. played VA. I sure am going to cheer from my recliner though. Sound like a red-neck Alabama man huh? Popcorn and Coke Zero and recliner with computer at the wall. lol, I do hope everybody has a safe and fun trip. RTR!
Sounds like a great way to watch... I might envy you and your recliner if we lose...or have the peebags thrown. With it being in New Orleans there are plenty of riff raff LSU fans there 365 days a year. I know a guy who was shot in the face while his baby slept in the next room in New Orleans...all over a laptop. I'm not a fan of New Orleans but maybe they will surprise me. The ones I know in real life are great people...it's just the jerks of the group are very vocal...and very drunk. For those that haven't been to NOLA the French Quarter is must. But it is a tourist trap that most responsible locals avoid like the plague. You can still go to the BCSNCG without hanging out on Bourbon Street. New Orleans is a wonderful city with great restaurants and history. Avoid the troublespots, especially at night, and you will be fine. Kind of like porn on TV,--if you don't like it don't watch it. HTH [The 'don't like seafood' thing IS an issue. You can still find something to eat but this limits you a lot.] MOTHER'S has anything you need/want/desire. ^^^Central Grocery Moufalottas. Boudain. Lucky Dogs. Morton's Steakhouse. Antoines (and most other 5*) have other things besides seafood. HTH And then go back to Mother's for some red beans and rice (for dessert).

Good post 55. I put it on the front page.
Gracias, that is Cuban for thanks I looked it up. You're right: Gracias means thank you in Spanish. (interjection)
An example of gracias is what you say after someone helps you in a Spanish-speaking country.

I sometimes kid CAT.
Thanks for the gross, somewhat cool, dialog. Speaking of cool, I finally took a photo of the knife I bought at the show. Here ya go: Which end do you twist and turn? Good question. Here's the WWII Western knife I got (with the guy's name and "USMC 1942" on the sheath):

CNS picked OSU 4th. Troy Calhoun (AF) picked OSU 5th (behind Stanford and Arkansas). Those that picked the Tide 3rd: Zook, Tuberville, Tedford, Stoops, Rhoads, Quinn, Mendenhall, Hudspeth, Golden, Fedora, Dykes, Cutcliffe, Christensen, Briles, Bielema, Beckman, Bailiff. Cutcliffe actually picked Bama 2nd. MY bad to CDC I was just about to reply that Cutcliffe voting Bama 3rd was a surprise. Glad he didn't. I understand that prick Tuberville, and one can hardly blame Stoops (after getting run over last weekend). Who let Zook vote?
