Five Most Overrated Head Coaches in College Football

Little early to say Tom Herman is overrated. Wow. I agree with the other four.

Well not sure how they chose 2 of the coaches but the other 3 I would agree with except for one thing on Brian Kelley's behalf. When coaches lose to CNS they usually go downhill. Urban Meyer is the only one with a 2nd chance so far and has won again with another team I believe. RTR!

Brian Kelly certainly claims the #1 spot. Kirk Ferentz at Iowa

I never consider them a real contender. Harbaugh has not not done much in a weak Big Ten yet, but I think he will. Too early to put Herman on the list. He over achieved at Houston, Texas may be different. Kiffin was fired at the airport and not allowed to return to USC. Regulated to an assistant job and landed at Florida Atlantic. He was over rated at USC but he is getting what he deserves now. After a good run at Bama as OC he is at a mid-major loser trying to hone his skills as a head coach.

With only an offer from FAU, not sure Kiffin is overrated. Huh?

Still too early to tell with Harbaugh and Herman.

Overall, a story just trying to generate buzz.

My guess is this article was written by a guy who was on deadline and couldn't think of anything better to write about. Very little substance here and nothing new.

As for Bryan Kelly, for years we've all known ND was overrated. Now that they have to compete with criteria that is more objective than polls, and they have to face quality teams in the playoffs, they are exposed. And I love it!!!!
