Good morning folks.  I've never been to a worship service where they handle snakes but if I ever do you can betcha I'll be packing my pistol...  Safe travels Chech when you do leave. 2, drink lots of WATER while doing the outside work.  The heat down there can pull the fluids outta you as you know.

So my youngest had his very last baseball game last night.  It was the end of year tourney.  Have not won even one game all season and the two games in the tourney were no different.  After his game finished he asked if he could go play on the playground so I said, "yeah, go ahead."  While standing there I started talking with the guy running the concession stand and found that we know several people in common.  He asked me if we would like some chicken dinners...for $2 each.  I said "Yeah, give me four."  So he gave me four plates with two chicken quarters each, baked beans and potato salad for $2/each.  I handed the guy $10 and told him to keep the extra.  So I sat down to eat while I watched the championship game between the two teams that have beaten us like a bass drum all season.  This turned out to be an awesome game.  About the third inning the team that beat us last night was up by 13 points and I'm starting to think that they are going to take it and force the "if necessary" game.  Then there was a play at 3rd where the baseman dropped the ball as the runner was sliding into the base.  The field ump came over and called him safe while the home plate ump signaled out because the baseman was able to pick the ball up pretty quick.  I actually thought it was an out too because it looked like he picked the ball up in time to get the force out.  The field ump's call stood and the fans for the team on defense went crazy.  Once the home plate ump got things taken care of she pointed at two people in the stands and said, "Get out!"  She ejected two of the fans, and older man and a younger woman who was actually that team's book keeper.  That team then started fighting back and wound up winning the game 23-22.  Great game!  I was surprised to see the book keeper get thrown out though so that was pretty entertaining too...

Going to be VERY WINDY today, but not much chance of rain (20%).  We could use a rain shower.

I have a bit more packing to do before heading west.  Ready to be there.  Those trout are snapping!

NALT's snake stories got me wondering if any of you ever attended a snake-handling service.  Ricky?

The only snakes I handled were the ones I killed, which weren't many, but were all poisonous. Snakes are not my friends.

Gonna be a hot one. I'll do my yard work early today. We have rain coming in this weekend and it's supposed to last several days. We sure can use it.

Chech, now that you have a bigger SUV, you gonna upgrade your raft to a canoe?

Snakes? When I was in the Army I had to sleep with them things on the ground but now a days I don't. Well another good day just got home from church and Bible Study. It was great tonight. Yall sleep well. RTR!

Lots of stormy weather in the midwest yesterday, and some coming our way this weekend.  We'd like just rain, please!  And I need to mow the grass.  Too much wind yesterday.

No football news, except the continued story about early-signing periods.  Recruits can now sign by December 20th (giving us a merry Christmas).

Good morning folks.  Very nice morning here.  No rain for me please.  I don't have a garden and the more it rains the more grass grows that I have to mow... It is just mid-May and I'm already tired of mowing grass this year...

90% chance of rain Sunday and then more on Monday and Tuesday. Will be nice until then.

That Reuben Foster sammich looks pretty good. Glad it was invented in St Louis. If it was invented in San Francisco, it would be nothing more than bean sprouts and Kale.

Thanks you guys. Mrs Dottie said bless you for thinking of her. She is really having a hard time but she goes to see a specialist at 7500 Hugh Daniel DR. in B'ham Tuesday morning and he is suppose to be really great. It is a DR. Stainer I believe is the way you spell it. I do know God has got this and it is going to be good. RTR!
