The guy seems half crazy, but he's doing good work for the people of Alabama right now.

He also said he'd like to organize a celebrity softball game to bring to Tuscaloosa.

He has his faults but he is stepping up to help.

I loved him on Two and A Half Men. Too bad he is like that in real life.

In that case, I don't think I would ever want someone to get beaned with a ball as much as that man.

It will be interesting to see if his change of character is long term or short term, hopefully it's long term.

I'm just glad he's showing some character. My wife and I were talking a few days ago that we had not heard of anyone from Hollywood stepping up, which really didn't surprise us, because, after all, it IS the South. Anyway, kudos for Charlie.

Yep. Our Southern drawl isn't too popular there.

What a special heart in a man who has all the money and craziness he wants. He is doing an excellent job for T-town. RTR!

Hank Williams Jr is stepping up big time. He is organizing a telethon next Thursday night that will be televised by CMT and be carried live on major country stations. I can't remember all the stars but Tim McGraw, Sarah Evans, Kid Rock, Lady Antebellum, Keith Urban & Alabama our some of them. He was on Rick & Bubba this morning talking about it. They think they can raise several million dollars.

Thanks Pmull. I was trying to set to record in case we missed it, but I guess it hasn't hit the Directv guide yet.
