Title: NCAA Women's Golf: Emma Talley Wins Individual Championship Post by: pmull on May 25, 2015, 05:23:33 PM The Alabama Women's golf team will finish in 14th place well out of the needed top 8 finish to advance to the next round.
The individual champion will be crowned today. Alabama's Emma Talley is in the club house with a -3 score and leads by 2 strokes. Two players still on the course have a chance to catch her. Their are only three players under par. Talley started this round even par and fired a 69 today. It is being shown live on The Golf Channel. Talley is a junior from Princeton, KY. She won the US Amateur in 2013. She has played in 3 US Women's Open and made the cut twice. She was a member of the winning US Curtis Cup team in 2014. Now she adds an NCAA Championship. Quite a career.
