Title: Bama in the NFL
Post by: N.AL-Tider on December 23, 2019, 03:44:58 PM
Bama has three RB's in the NFL that have rushed for 1000+ so far this season.  Kenyon Drake, Mark Ingram II, and Derrick Henry.  "IF" you count Alvin Iamara who actually was on the Bama roster for a time, then he would make 4-1000 yard rushers.  I think that solidifies Bama as the official RBU.

My grandson and I watched the Saints-Titans game yesterday. I was so looking forward to seeing Derrick Henry play. We were so disappointed that he was out with a pulled hamstring. Kamara played well for the Saints, though.

We swapped back and forth between that game and the Ravens-Browns game. Mark Ingram played very well also. The only reason I watch the NFL at all is to see the Bama players excel. They did not disappoint.

Kamara is not a Bama guy IMO. He defected. Not willing to wait his turn. Did not get his degree. He is a UT man. HTH

No Kamara is not true Bama.  I remember thinking he was talented when Bama recruited him, and he certainly benefited from Bama RB coaching, but Bama was loaded at RB at the time, and he got an offer for more playing time elsewhere.  I don't fault his choice -- it worked out for him -- but I don't claim him as Bama either.

I understand that perspective and agree.  He also had some behavior issues too...

Recruits ought to see this and be reminded what is ahead for them at Alabama. RTR!

I'm watching the Titans vs the Texans. The Texans have clinched a playoff birth so D. Watson is sitting this one out and AJ McCarron  is at the helm. D Henry is playing today for the Titans after being gimpy with a strained hammy. The last 2 TDs scored in this game were by Henry and AJ.

Titans lead 21-14 at the end of the 3rd quarter. If they win, they are in the playoffs too.

Henry just scored again to make it 28-14 Titans. Henry needs about 50 more rushing yds to beat out Nick Chubb for the NFL rushing record.

He did. He broke off a big one for a TD late in the game to give him the rushing title.
