August 24th:

Imgur kept putting me in a loop, and I'd end up with a wall of animated trophy animals with eyes moving back and forth.  I kept trying options, and finally got it to work.

Here are some Rainbow Trout from Hebgen Lake that I caught yesterday.  Notice the smoke in the background.

My phone screen is crushed, but I hooked up a cable and downloaded the photos I took before it was crushed.  Here are some:

Wolves.  There were 9 of them total (6 black; 3 gray), and 3/4 mile away.  These pics aren't good, but best I could get from that far.  They were just playing like dogs.  Was in Lamar Valley of YNP:

1. Have you considered getting a zoom lens for your cell phone?  I just got one for Bamarae (she hasn't tried it yet).

2. On Jeopardy yesterday, one question was what type of fish does one usually catch on the Yellowstone River using a fly rod.  One contestant said, "salmon."  (Why aren't you posting photos of all the salmon you've been catching?)

Caught 8 trout today, mostly Rainbows.  It was 33 degrees when I got to the lake at daybreak.

Here is the best one of the Rainbows.  That's HORSE BUTTE in the background.
