Well good for the barn. They've found someone who can recruit the state of Idaho.
He'll need a nickname to succeed at the Barn. Let's see, most of the favorite names are taken (Big Kat, Smoke, Bo, Cadillac...). Maybe something in his near future: Heroin? Whore sin? No, that was Freeze. Maybe we need a contest! How about "The Tater State Wonder Boy'? The Spud Stud - or the Spud Dud, if it goes poorly.

Great as usual. What are your thoughts on Dickerson - can Owens step in and do the job? The OL has been the strength of the team all year, and I am wondering how much LD being out will disrupt the cohesiveness of that unit.

Defense continues to get better and better, especially up front and the pass rush. If this continues with the offense and kicking game the way they are, it's going to be mighty tough to come close to Bama.

If Bama beats LSU - and I think that's gonna happen big time - Bama wins the West. I think it is best for Bama and the conference to let Bama and UF out of the Dec 12 games before the SEC Championship. I would say that regardless of the teams involved.

Good job as always. Jones has really shown great pocket presence - he is not an overly elusive guy, but the way he moves up into the pocket is nice - was a key to the TD throw to Billingsley. Also the pump fake on the slug route that Smith caught the first TD on was sweet. Not too bad for a "game manager."

Good as always. The RB position looks solid for the next few years - McClellan and Williams both look really good. Young had two great throws - his first on an out pattern to Smith was perfect, and his scramble throw in the red zone was impressive, especially on the run.

Thanks again, hscoach. I agree - I think the D is improving a little each week. Maybe not having spring ball had a lot to do with a very slow start. Still wish CNS would simplify things a bit. And wow - dad gum it, we have a kicker!

The OL is really starting to come together and gel as a unit. When you can operate against the UGA defense like Bama did, it starts with them. I am starting to wonder if Dylan Moses is mentally there from his injury. He is not playing well and is missing run fits like a rookie. One other thing I have noticed - do you thing the inside LBs are too close to the LOS? They appear to be 3 to 3.5 yards back as opposed to 5. I tend to believe this makes them more susceptible to the OL getting to their level and not having as good of vision for counters and the like as they would otherwise.
They may be too close, but I guess they are coached to play that way. Some people believe if you are too deep it allows the OL to get to you at the 2nd level easier. Moses had a pretty good game, stat wise. He was the 2nd leading tackler with 10 which included a sack and a TFL % were solo tackles. Moses might have had stats, but he is very tentative. In the first half him missing a run fit allowed a UGA back to run for over 20 yards. Love his dedication and wanting to come back - hope he can turn it up. I noticed the LBs playing extremely close in the Ole Miss game, which I felt Ole Miss exploited that spacing several times. I didn't think 32 had a particularly good game this week, either, but Saban really praised him. He did say he was tentative early in the year, but thought he was back to playing forcefully this week. Moses was actually picked as one of the players of the week from the defensive side of the ball from the coaches. He wasn't flashy, but he was consistent most of the game. He overran that one play which led to the 20+ yard gain, but other than that, he played pretty well. He probably did. I guess I need to be more realistic in watching Moses. He's not superhuman, but I know he's a dang good LB.
