BYU up 24 to 3 and it is still the first half.  Best part of the game?   All the ads for the Bama game on Saturday.

The Cougars of WSU came out on the losing side with a 30-6 loss against BYU that was every kind of awful. Since Leach has always been associated with absurd numbers, it’s probably better just to lay out the facts first:

WSU Quarterback Jeff Tuel was able to pass for 228 yards, but threw two interceptions. The Cougars had -4 — I repeat, -4 rushing yards on 16 attempts. WSU had eight penalties for 73 yards and converted just 33 percent on third downs.

And no touchdowns.

I don't think we missed much by sleeping on the game.

Leach hasn't changed any, he's still the one dimensional coach that he was at Texas Tech, all offense and no defense. I will say though, he looks to be a much thinner coach and he must have lost a hundred pounds, which is a good thing.

It was a good game, and I am very impressed with how much Vandy has improved under their new coach.  They are going to give some people trouble this year.

Had the refs caught the pass interference by USCe, we might have had a different result.  Funny how I found myself half-way rooting for Vandy even though I picked USCe.

I agree.  The zebra's missed that one.  I was torn on the outcome.  I wanted SC to either win and cover the spread, or to just go on and lose.  Winning by less than 7 was the worst thing that could have happened from my perspective.

bama57 ALSO picked Vandy.  I take back half of my compliment, and give it to bama57 (who modestly enjoyed his victory).

I wasn't being modest, I checked the board a few times , but, couldn't comment because I was preparing for a colonoscopy ....I do think Franklin has energized this Vandy team and has changed their mindset
