I think we all know that Tua is the most talented QB in the nation. He played hobbled in the game against Ga, and the talking heads have pretty much beat him up since. Does he have a chance? What say you.

I think it is very close, but they will give it to Murray. JMO.

Given the lack of success on the field on many Heisman winners, I almost hope Tua doesn't win.  But only almost.  I'm hopeful that Tua wins but fearful that an ankle injury on the 4th play of the GA game doomed a tremendous season.  Another National Championship should soothe any disappointment!  ROLL TIDE!!!!

30% chance.  Had everyone voted today I'd give him a 55%.  Most everyone voted with a poor performance fresh in their minds and without the knowledge he was hurt early.  A week later, the game doesn't seem nearly as bad.

What you say has merit. Look at all the Heisman winners that were QBs that couldn't cut it in the NFL; Pat Sullivan, Geno Teretta, Danny Weurfful, Johnny Manzeil. Then the also rans like Dan Marino, Peyton Manning and others totally excelled in the NFL.

What matters to us all is the Natty. It's nice to have Heisman winners, but we'd all much rather have the Natty.

Congrats to Kyler.  He is a really GREAT QB.  I hate that Tua didn't but Kyler did have better passing and rushing stats.  Tua will definitely be back next year as will his WR's so look-out.  He may win it going away next year...

Such class by Tua.  I think he was the first one to start clapping for Murry.  Not that he needs it but, maybe this will be motivation to prepare for the head to head match up.

I think some are not happy with the results because he bolted from a SEC school
to OK with the flag football D I believe is how it is being put
because he couldn't win a starting job at A&M ...

Congrats to KM.  He is a very dangerous runner.  Can't say much about his passing -- his receivers mostly seem wide open. 

Press did a full-on blitz for Murray after the conference championship games -- apparently failing to notice that Tua played injured that game.

Heisman to Murray could be a good thing.  Bama will show up extra motivated.

Kyler Murray gonna look like Joe Burrow.

Either way we have Tua next year and he will be even better. The voters know if they voted Tua this time they might have to vote him next time. RTR!

Then there's the effect of BAMA fatigue.  I really do think there's some penalty our players pay in these awards competitions because we've been so good for so long.

That's a hard position to justify when Kyler was a repeat OK QB winner. 

IMO, folks, the fact that Kyler won every region outside of the South (where even there Tua's margin was slim), says that there may be a little bias in this discussion amongst the Bama faithful.  Just my two cents, which is more than anyone will pay for it. 

No question about it...bias was a factor among the haters as there always have been. Congrats to Kyler.

So from the beginning, there's always been an anti-Bama bias built into the award.  Giving past "winners" the vote perpetuates that bias.
