Title: My Work Day Post by: bamaphil on December 08, 2018, 04:31:18 PM I came into work today at 2:00 as usual. The executive director told me he needed to talk to me as soon as I walked in and took me into the office. He then asked me how hard it would be for me to find someone to preach for me on December 30 because he wants to take me out for coffee that day...in Miami! The boss has four tickets to the game and is giving them and travel money to us! I’ll be going to my first game since 2008!

Most people can't afford to do it often, and many fans have crossed the experience off their bucket list a time or two in the last 10 years. Plus, I've heard flights from Birmingham, Huntsville, and Nashville are all pricey for the surrounding dates.
I haven't been in Tide Pride in several years, and they sent me an email saying if I wanted to order NCG tickets through them then they would probably have some for me. I guess a lot of fans figure if their team makes the championship that’s the better game to attend, and if their team doesn’t win they’d rather not be there. I wouldn’t even consider going if it wasn’t an almost all expenses paid kind of trip. I haven’t even been to a game in Tuscaloosa during the two seasons I’ve been back home due to the costs.
