Still nearly 3000 homes without power in our county this morning.  There were 6000 last night.  The tornado went through the east side of the county (where it's all red), traveling SE from Abbeville.  Big yikes!  Hope y'all are all okay today.

Thanks.  No reports of deaths or severe injuries (that I've heard).  Power still out in wide area of the county.  Ole Miss campus lost some trees, but wasn't hit by a tornado.

My mother passed away a long time ago. I'm taking Mrs 2 (who had a great day yesterday) to Biloxi tomorrow for a couple of days,  to get the one-armed bandit fever out of her system. We will detour on the way, to my mother's grave in Hattiesburg, MS, and I'll put new flowers on her and my dad's grave. It's been 3 years since I've been by there. Time to pay my respects again.

Hattiesburg...my brother spent a year or two there.   I remember walking around in shorts and a t-shirt on Christmas Eve one year.   It's warm down there.

Do y'all stay at a casino in Biloxi?  I do enjoy a few hands of poker now and again.   I'm more of a tournament player rather than cash game, though.   I like the tournament strategy where everyone gets the same amount of chips for one buy-in, and you're playing til the chips are gone.   Seems a slight more "honest" game than cash tables.  And hopefully no one is spending their last nickel.
