Perry has embraced the medical redshirt that gave him another shot at a grand exit and positioned himself for significant playing time in the back end of Alabama's defense.

"I definitely appreciate it. I love it here," Perry said. 'When they told me I had an opportunity to come back, I jumped at it. College football is one of the purest (forms) of football there is. You're playing with guys that you've been around since you were a freshman. You go to class with these guys, you hang out with these guys. Hopefully you win with these guys, too." ...

His loss to the team was BIG last season.
Hopefully he'll be a leader among the DBs.

I totally agree Chechem. His loss last year weakened our Defensive backfield bad. Runs like the one at Auburn would not have happened but the injury bug got him and yes it hurt alot. This year I see a different team with Nick, Landon, and Geno. These guys are solid and will knock your head off. RTR!
