The Florida State transfer played in five games during the 2014 season as Sims' backup. He was 38 of 59 (64.4 percent) for 403 yards, four touchdowns, no interceptions and a 144.16 QBR. The rising senior was 18 of 36 (50 percent) for 250 yards, no touchdowns, one interception and a 102.78 passer rating as Jameis Winston's backup in 2013. Taking part in his third consecutive quarterback battle, this year Coker will be pushed by highly-touted recruit Blake Barnett, who is an early enrollee at Alabama, rising sophomore Cooper Bateman, freshman David Cornwell, and rising junior Alec Morris. Gonna be a good QB battle. I think Bateman may give Coker a run for his money. Their QB situation is much more unsettled than ours. At least Coker has some experience (provided he gets the job, of course).
