Title: St Jude Classic
Post by: 2Stater on July 28, 2019, 06:11:15 PM
Brooks Koepka won the St Jude Classic today and he has made me a fan. I noticed that all the high profile players with the exception of Tiger, who was catching some rest, were in the field. I've followed this tournament for years and most of the time, the big names skip it. I was wondering why this year, all the big names were in it. It's because this tournament, after 60 years of being in the PGA rotation, finally got some recognition and is in the FedEx playoffs.

When Koepka was interviewed after his win, he said that he had been a player in this tournament since he turned pro, and had always visited the St Jude hospital. They had the kids tending the pins today on the last few holes, and he interacted with them. He is a big supporter of the St Jude hospital, as am I.

Kudos and congrats to BK for his win today, and support of St Jude hospital.

I have liked BK for awhile now. He seems like a good guy. He is by far the best player in the world right now.

Never followed BK until he started winning last year.  Something about him, maybe the extreme muscle build, was a turnoff.

But he was on the Memphis news a lot this week at the Fed Ex.  Glad to see him so interactive with fans and cancer kids.  I'm like 2; now a fan of his.
