Which course you playing today, 2?

Meeting my Atlanta golf buddies halfway. We're playing Arrowhead Pointe at the Richard B. Russell State Park near Elberton, Ga.

Lots of water, 2.  Better pack your balls.

My balls are always packed. My kidney levels are finally back to normal, so I'll be drinking beer to chase my water.

I'm outta here. Catch ya tonight.

Thanks Jamos for the BB update. I'm getting excited about that, football, softball and everything else.

I posted yesterday that Gil and I will be going to the Ole Miss game and planning on coming in Friday to play golf with you, and hopefully Chech, if y'all are available. We can talk later as that time gets closer.

Good to see you on here again.

Oh, and FWIW, getting up at 3:15 doesn't bode well for good golf. Shot a lackluster 89, but broke even on the money. It was great to get out and play, though especially at such a great golf course.

Golf is a crazy game as someone at the club last week told me he shot a 68 that day and still lost money. There must have been a lot of brother-in-lawing going on in that match. Wink

Good morning.  The coffee tastes great today.  Coffee

I'm a bit sore this morning.  I went over to help a buddy at his farm yesterday.  We used his tractor to haul dirt and clean up old brush piles, then raked out the dirt to plant grass seeds.  It was hot, and by 5PM we were worn out.  We hope to finish this morning before the rain comes (about noon).

Looks like we'll have rain every day this week.  I need to mow my grass about Thursday; I'm leaving for a fishing trip next weekend.  We'll see if Mr Weatherman is right!

Lots of football news.  Not long now before the games begin.  Yipeeee!

Good morning J and Chech. I got some well needed sleep last night. Went to bed before 9:00 and woke up about 10 minutes ago. Made up for the night before. I think I'll go get some breakfast.

Good morning folks.  I slept very well last night myself.  Maybe it was because I was in my own bed again.  I'll post about the trip probably tomorrow (Monday).  Mrs. Nalt is needing the computer this morning so I don't have enough time right now.  Glad everyone is doing well.

NALT, you need to show her who wears the pants in that family. Then after she takes yours from you, give her the computer.

That reminded me of something that happened as we played golf yesterday. John from our group, was telling us about playing in a tourney. they were standing around and just for kicks, John asked one of them, "Do you think these pants make my butt look big?"

The guy responded, "Yes. Yes I do think they make your butt look big." And everybody had a good laugh.

I told John that the guy prolly waited his entire married life to tell someone that, without fear of reprisal.

Chech, that looks like some serious weather heading your way.

Good morning everybody. Looks I have to miss church this morning as bad as it hurts but Mrs Dottie is about totally out of pain meds and we have to pack for in the morning. We leave around 4 AM headed to B'ham to Grandview and her surgery is suppose to be at 7 AM. I may be absent for a few days so if I can't get our laptop to work we shall return with better news after her stay maybe. You all be safe and keep pushing reps for practice. RTR!

James Edward and I drove over to Atlanta Friday morning.  We spend the afternoon mainly relaxing.  Went over to the stadium around 4:30 and got in line to enter the place.  We went to a likely spot to catch a homerun ball during batting practice.  I managed to get one for James Edward off the bat of one of the Marlins' players.  Didn't matter to either of us that it wasn't from one of the Braves.  The game was great and he made friends with a couple of boys about his age that were sitting next to us.  After the game we waited around to watch the fireworks show.  That was really good too.  When we started back to the hotel (we walked both ways) it started sprinkling rain.  That gradually increased to the point that we decided to put on our poncho's.  I got mine on but his got torn up while he was unfolding it to the point that it was unusable.  He said he didn't mind so we walked back to the hotel.  By the time we got there we were both soaked though.  It was a fun afternoon/evening.  Yesterday morning after breakfast we started home and decided to stop at the Tellus Science Museum.  If you ever get the chance to go there, GO.  James Edward really enjoyed that a lot and I knew he would.  It was good to get home yesterday afternoon though.

Preacher, we're praying for Mrs Dottie. Just when you can, please keep us updated.

Yep, it was a beatdown.  Good weekend of golf anyhow.

Preacher, hope all goes well tomorrow.   Pray
